I bought this truck a few months ago now I have to admit its a freaking animal upgraded the servo so u can actually steer the damn thing and put proline masher 2000s on rpm revolver rims. Since then I cant keep the frony tires on the ground and slipper clutch nut keeps coming lose as well as the steering links pooping off almost every time it rolls over. Ok now that im done bitching if anyone else has this truck and canylt give some cheap trick to keep these problems from making me sell this truck cuz its a money pit and every time I run it it breaks. O and on top of all of that I magically lose one of the front drive shafts after bringing it in the house after a test run.

Thanks ill pick some of those up for sure and for my slipper clutch nut I set it where I wanted it and jb welded the damn thing in lol and I did get a good deal on a wheelie bar from a guy that works at the lhs so that is now on but do uk if they make cvds for the front and rear axles ik the have cvd center shafts

Hey, while searching i found your thread and see that you have a HPI Savage XS truck ?

Could you be so kind as to measure the wheelbase the width and length of the BODY only ?

I am looking for these measurements because i'm doing a scale build with my Losi MRC and i think this body would fit well but can't find any dimensions except for the entire vehicle, but i want only the body :)

Based on the internet, the wheelbase should be ~225mm which is about spot on for my build, but can you provide me with the lenght and width of the body alone ?
MANY THANKS !!!
Dave

Hook your esc to a castle link and reduce your timing and add a bit of punch control. I set mine to 70. I also adjusted my throttle curve to tame everything before 50% throttle. All this made it a lot more drive able. You also might consider putting the 32/60 idler in it to help with the heat issues generated with the larger heavier wheels.
