Looks like it has a mamba max pro relabeled, and it's waterproof. 65mph on 3s.

It's supposed to have all metal transmission gears, and being a savage I would expect it to be tough. I love my 1/8 scale flux. This thing should be awesome. Price is about 310 it seems.

1/10 electronics , 2.2 wheels appears to be a shortcourse brushless motor. Waterproof! I'm in.

Shipped from RPP today, will be here friday, I will try to do an unboxing video, but it's going to be a busy weekend.

Sweet I'm especially interested in the physical size of the stock motor. They are vague and only state that it uses 1/10 scale electronics.

Mini savage is in. Showed up late today, and of course with kids football practice, and the piano bar we went to tonight, I have had 0 change to run it outside. Its freaking awesome though. Fit a 2s hard case 5200 mah lipo into the battery box!
I did do a quick unboxing, and its uploading to YouTube right now, so I will post. I in a few.

Awesome! I got to pick up and inspect one at the lhs yesterday Evening. That thing is beefy ( in a mini kinda way) a armslook like they can take some punishment. I was really pleased another the hinge on the battery door. The battery door were the first thing to break on my 1/16 slash. Over all it is an impressive rig.

Yeah it's pretty beefy. Alot packed into a small space. Can't wait to actually run this thing though. Been busy since it showed up.... :(

I'll be picking mine up Friday. Talked to my buddy at my lhs. Said he'd hold one for me. Looks like my son will be inheriting my associated rc18t. Tx/rx from the XS will be donated to it along with a spare AE-2 and 1650 mah lipos that I have floating around.

So what is your overall take on that little beast now that you've had a little quality time with it?

Well I only had about 5 minutes to play with it today before church, bit I can tell you I was grinning ear to ear. It's got merv torque, and will wheeling on command on 2s. I flipped it on it's lid trying to do a backflip, so I might need to go 3s or adjust the spur gear. It's fast though, and having such a low cog, you can really cut turns and have it spin around.

Awesome can't wait for Friday! I saw the press release over a month ago and was like "Meh just another mini". After taking a closer look I'm impressed. I got sick of my 1/16 slash. Constant leaky rear diff. Replaced the battery doors several times. Couldn't keep an axle in it. Just overall unsatisfied with the durability factor. I'll admit I'm a basher, that said I know I drove it hard. My hopes are that this little machine is built as durable as it's big brother. Appears to be overpowered just the same. I hope RPM picks this one up like it did the traxxas minis.
