HRDROKN's Creeper build... 2nd time around!

Ur wheel base should shorten up at ride height? An they measure for comps in all directions.. full up(you lift till the wheels are just starting to lift), ride height, an full down( pushing on it).. yeah my eyes work pretty good, I would worry more bout getting ur rear links away from eachother at the diff, huge help! An even at crawling speeds, negative castor in the front is good.. helps with up hill climbs.. among other spots

Had a chance to play around with the link geometry last night... found that as I had it there was no where near enough AS in the rear! When I torqued the axle the squat colapsed the shock springs. lol. So I moved the uppers forward and down till that effect went away and that made quite a difference... then I added a couple holes for adjustability. The other route would have been to raise the uppers at the axle, but I would need some more fab work to make that happen.

Just a little eye candy update....

I have crawled with them... about the same as the rovers, but I will put a bunch more time on them with this build.

I'm holding off on the seperation at the diffs till I get an idea of how she performs as is. I have a plan if I need to go that route. I tried a bunch of different combos on the bench/link calc. and I felt that this was close to middle of the road. I also tried combos with the shocks on the low mount, for everything gained something else was lost...

As far as using the R1 stealth chassis.... really no advantage! Just a different look.

Negative castor is actually bad...negative is where the knuckles lean forward...positive which is what you want..makes the knuckles lean backward...positive castor is a huge factor in a rig working well on the rocks...if you have negative castor then the tires will push back when you are trying to climb whereas positive castor will pull making climbs easier...

Looking good man! Only thing I dont like about those tires is they look like they wouldnt side hill the best. Keep the creeper porn comin!!

Lookin' good man, seems that you chopped quite a bit off of the Stealth Chassis. Are you still planning on using the stock Creeper body?

Ya, I cut her down to 8.250" in length in case I go without a body.... but I'm leaning towards using the creeper body or similar.

Yep yep.. I was backwards too, lol, my crawler brain wasn't working yesterday day at all! I even asked bout goin bigger with my Pinion or if it was better to go up on my spur.. it was a wheel speed thread! Lol.. I shouldn't of even been allowed to post yesterday! Lol.. I was on 1:1 rig mode

Shock mounts look sweeet! Great work! Body fits nice an snug down on the chassis too.. good deal, it looks good with the body.
Hard to believe I read the stock creeper wheels work for you like rovers! That's a crazy statement to read! Lol, cool, cause the last ones weren't worth a &@%*...

I have a bunch of the stock creeper body posts. No bolts to hold them on or pins though. If you want them for free +shipping send me a PM.
