You wish you owned this rig  we all know boss302 owns this and the milkmanconcepts 1/6 twinforce...:lol::lol:

Jumping photo looks sick "thumbsup" When I 1st had it it was geared 12/87 and had a hand wound 13 turn motor in it  it cooked pretty good.

:lol::lol:
Yeah, that boss302 dude needs to get a life.

Nice on the 13 turn, this thing just is meant to haul ass.

Sick photo Ty!!

She could really use some sway bars. half the time it drifts pretty good but the other half of the time it flips over. I'll have to tune the suspension a little more.

I'm glad to see this truck again and its still alive. and it really looks bad a$$ with those axles on it too.

Thanks. I really love how it turned out. The axles, wheels, tires and the rest of it just plain look good. ....and they work even better!8)

rich

man this build is awesome. i love FTR's paintjobs

They are awesome, but I dont think he did this one... This body has been around the block.

TURTLE is correct, FTR didn't paint this one...yet.
My 2.2 sw3 and my super sw2 were both painted True Fire by FTR. I'll be having him paint up a lid for this one once I beat this body up some more. It's in really good shape still. I put more scratches on it during the first pack than it's got since it was painted a couple years ago though.:lol: Needless to say it's getting beat up pretty quick with me beating the crap out of the truck, but that what's it's meant for, no shelf queens here.8)

Nice dude! Yeah, you did a great job on the paint. I can't believe how good it looks for being so old. It looked almost brand new when I got it a couple months ago. The paint itself still looks amazing, the outside of the body is just starting to get pretty scratched up from all of the high speed tumbles.
We're planning an actual photo shoot in the near future of high speed stuff and jumping. I'll post all of the pics in this thread and then you can let me know which ones you like the best and I'll get you a high res version."thumbsup"

That has to be one of the coolest pics I've seen in a long time!"thumbsup""thumbsup""thumbsup"

Too bad we didn't get a pic of it sideways drifting right before it went on two wheels, now that would have been cool. Next photo session.8)

Sweet! That bed looks awesome! I'm not sure where it ended up though.
Let me know when you get to CO, you'll have to come out to our gtg's and check it out for sure."thumbsup"

That last photo is bad a$$! Anything break when it landed?

No way this rig is a tank! We probably jumped this truck 50 times and not a single thing has broken:shock: and thats with stock axial axles, hell Im impressed."thumbsup"

That last photo is bad a$$! Anything break when it landed?

Well, nothing broke from that jumping session.
The only casualty from that day was turning a hex into a circle, the proline wheel is still in pretty good condition though.

To date I have busted,
Bent all 4 links (before they were sleeved)
Bent the front bumper and broke some weld on the front bumper
Broke an upper link rod end in half
Bent a shock shaft
Busted a Maxx Tranny output yoke
Snapped 2 plastic knuckles
Rounded a hex

It doesn't break when we jump it really. Most of the stuff has broke from tumbling down 50' rock walls or jumping off 2-3 foot cliffs.

Yeah I think Im good luck! It stays together as long as I am there (besides the hex, but I dont count that)

A few more...
