Spintires is coming out with a improved edition and is available online now

Supposed to be out Oct 31st everywhere in all platforms

There is a preview video and looks bad ass

The first Spintires, I finished one map and uploaded faster off road vehicles

And spent about 100 hours just blazing trails

I have it, it crashes constantly and mod support pretty much sucks right now. The original Spintires is still king for now.

Good to know, I was going to wait until it had been out awhile, so there would be mods and maps available

Same with the first Spintire, I had it awhile and then started adding modded vehicles and some different maps

The maps usual crashed and some of the vehicles too, its been awhile since I looked at mods for Spintires

Maybe I need to check them out again

I am going for railway empire when it get out.

As I get older and can't keep up with the ADD-fest RTSs and FPSs, I find myself looking for decent turn-based strategy games. I've been surfing Steam looking for a decent WW II based one...

Dont feel sad i stopped playing my favorite FPS games long ago, but only as i was forced to retire as those games are now build up in a way i cant bother with.
Im more the run and gun type, and those games haven't been made since 2000 or there about.

Last i played was COD modern warfare for a while until it POed me too much due to level up and stuff, plus its the same old maps over and over, and i really wished for random generated maps, which SOF2 actually had though it was not that successful implemented.

COD: Modern Warfare irked me, as well. The whopping 4 hour single player campaign signaled a trend as to how much value publishers were putting into that side of the game. I still replay the original Half-Life for it's 40+ hours of single player.

As for FPS MP, I fell in love with Medal of Honor: Allied Assault. It was the first FPS MP that I could be competitive in. I was never great at it, but I never felt at a massive disadvantage, either. I moved on to BF:2, and, while that had rankings and unlocks, I never felt like I was nerfed without them. I felt the exact opposite in COD: MW's multi-player.

Yep this solidifies it I'm buying a new pc wheel. Old one broke.

I have half a dozen race games Grid - Rally etc- but I have been wanting this one since it came out- I think my son might like it too have to rig it so he can reach the pedals.

The last FPS game I played was Modern Warfare something or other extremely difficult I liked Call of Duty before but now waiting for Farcry5 while playing Fallout4. I don't play with VATS -often- just play it like a regular shooter. Half Life2 is a classic and also the early Ghost Recon.
