I just started my tmaxx .15 conversion to electric and im going to make it a 4 link design with everything built homemade basically, and i need to know how to setup up my transmission with a motor mount, Is there a company that sells a mountor can some one show me a pic that i can base a homemade one from I'm thinkin on runner a 55t integy lathe on it so any help would be great. And could i use an ax10 tranny for this or will it not work for my application?

Thanx for any info

dont let me discourage you but you it would be a whole lot cheaper to start with a solid axle electric truck.

I know this but i seen these maxx crawlers on here and on other sites and I like a challenge also I find this a challenge I can have alot of fun with.

I'd just get an axial transmission. The entire transmission is only $30-$40, and it's much better suited to a crawler than a maxx transmission (lower gear, lower center of gravity, etc)

I don't think it's worth it to try and use the huge heavy stock tranny with an electric motor. Good luck with the rest of the build though, maxx crawlers are my favorite.
