I saw this today.

I thought about the 4 weeks of vacation I have to use by November and how there is no way in hell I will get through it, and I will lose it. Because if I want to keep my Yob, I go to work. They will not pay out for vacation so it looks like I will lose at least 2 weeks, just like I did last year.
I was also thinking about the almost 40% I do not bring home thanks to the federal, state, and local governments. No counting the 60% I have left loses another 9% in tax if I buy food, and 12% if I spend it in a restaurant. So pretty close to half goes away.
I need in on this. Now being that I am not willing to be homeless I need in on the free stuff.
I decided to try and get me a free Obama Phone. I figure it's something. So a little google gets me here:

I fill out a quick form and answer honestly. I figure me, the wife, and kid is 3. Add the In laws who are visiting, or maybe the dog ( you know another mouth to feed ) and lets find out where I stand.
You have to love the wording. You answer the questions, then it tells you " correct your income "
How many shitbags would just change the income. I mean were not rich. If I use just my wifes income, and I count the stray cats that eat out of the trash cans maybe we can qualify.
So here is where it stands. Lets see how many people can get in on this deal. Free Obama phones for everyone. I really am not willing to lie. I am thinking about using my 9 year old, she lives in the house, and has 0 income. Plus it would save me from buying her a phone. I wonder if they would give her one. I guess the household income would not change, but if we count her room as her "household" maybe.
BIG EDIT: I just thought of something. My daughters school is what they call a title 1( or something like that) and because people cry poor in our area, a majority of kids who go to her school would qualify for free lunch, they all get free lunch. So really we are part of a free school lunch program. That is not a lie, I am thinking that might be the ticket to a free Obama Phone.
Double Edit: I added the free lunch, and POW, we passed. I have not submitted it yet, but it looks like I can jump right on the gravy train like everyone else. My dad owns the buildings that the Welfare office are in. I wonder if I tell them she gets free lunch, if they will start cutting me a check.
