Ok finally got my unstuck chassis together. Its so easy to built, all the components work together perfectly. Lost over 30 grams just in the switch over.
Less fasteners, less supports, less weight.
Still have a way to go, but should be on the rocks by tomorrow.

what chassis did you have before? just curious. It looks great. did you make that upper link mount on the front? I've never seen a destroy plate with that style link mount

I like what ya did on the upper link mount! Great lookin rig too"thumbsup" What shocks & caps are those?

Yes that's a destroy plate with an Rcbros upper link mount on it.
The rear upper link mount is a Rcbro too.
Not sure why but I like it. Lol

As for the shock caps and the shocks, I made them in my shop on a CNC muti axis lathe. They are a two pc design that works like a real shock and have no holes in the Pistons, they simply move shock oil around an inner and outer sleeve / housing. Size wise they're exactly the same as scx10 shocks.
But can be tuned with different internal sleeves to speed up or slow down in either direction or have them set to have a different rate of decent and throw.
I also made a super big bore out of them by removing the inner sleeve and running a very large piston.
I'm still working on fine tuning them, but I may start selling them, Maybe?
If I do I'll be getting a vendor star to do so. "thumbsup"

If you look closely at the rear tire it's not glued that's a Carbon Fiber beadlock I also made at my shop. They can be used on the rear as well as front. The beadlock weights 3 grams each.

Weighting in at 12 grams for a class C rim.

Thanks Butch! Really really soon!
The cool thing is I'll be able to offer them in almost any length and they'll come with Ti shafts. Stock scx10 shocks throw about 30mm, but i should be able to go from 10mm of throw all the way up to around 45mm. So if a stock scx10 shock is around 100mm long with 30mm of throw the others would be 80mm long and 115mm long and possibly anywhere in between.

Put me on the list"thumbsup" No seriously I take a set of those maybe mo $???

Right now everything is just in prototype stage. I have no idea what the cost is, but as soon as I move past testing I'll get an itemized list together so I can get the end user pricing. But again I'll do so with a vendor star and release them thru the vendor section.

Thanks for the "thumbsup" hoping to maybe have testing done by the end of the month. Time to see how they hold up on the rocks.
