I'm getting an error message every time I try to use the subject browser. The message says "Internet Explorer has stopped working." Then it asks me if I want to close the program. This has happened before but I can't remember what I had to do to fix it...any ideas?

try a windows up date"thumbsup"

I used to laugh when folks said "use firefox" as a die hard IE user.

Well I have been using firefox for about 3 months--ya I will never go back to IE...

Sure enough there was an update for Windows 7 but it didn't cure the problem. I'm using Firefox at the moment but prefer IE. Little problems like this bug the shit out of me until they're cured. Any other suggestions are welcome.

Chrome. I've been off IE for years, got tired of the bugs and security issues, and once Firefox started to have the same issues I switched to chrome, it's a little different visually then the other 2 and took me a little bit to adjust, but it's much faster to load then the other 2 and I haven't had a single security issue or bug since"thumbsup"

I've been contemplating the switch to Chrome. How will it effect the things I have set up on IE? And is Chrome a Class 1-2 or 3 browser?:flipoff:

Help a computer nOOb out?

I's a Class-1 Sca....Browser it has Small tool bars and detailed bookmarks"thumbsup":lmao:

I've used Chrome and didn't like it. Have used Firefox off and on but can't get all of my bookmarks from IE over to it. I have hundreds of bookmarks in IE and use most of them on a regular basis so I miss the ease of use.

I'm trying Opera now for the first time and find it interesting. It gives me access to most but not all of my IE bookmarks. Another steep learning curve I'm too old for!!

Sure would like to know what happened to IE. It's gonna bug me 'til it's fixed.

So it's as easy as 1-2-3.....wait that doesn't sound right?:???:

:ror:

Hmmmm, me thinks some research is needed!"thumbsup"

Chrome is a Spec tacular program and if you switch you'll be on the Trail to smooth internet surfing, now go hit the Street running! It really is as easy as 1-2-3"thumbsup"
