Internet Explorer Issue

IE sucks, to many problems, plus all the virus and security issues - use something else, that is if you dont want your computer getting trashed with all kinds of crap off of the web.

Were are the Democratic "Flee-Baggers"?

Were?

I'm trying Opera now for the first time and find it interesting. It gives me access to most but not all of my IE bookmarks. Another steep learning curve I'm too old for!!.

Can't believe there's a whole page of discussion about IE and no Mac weenies have turned up.

[falsetto] oooh, get a Mac cause they're awesome, I have a Mac and it's awesome [/falsetto]

But seriously, Chrome is the way to go.

I used to laugh when folks said "use firefox" as a die hard IE user.

Well I have been using firefox for about 3 months--ya I will never go back to IE...

Try a real browser like Chrome or Opera then. Firefox is so bloated and problematic anymore. They became Nutscrape again and filled it up with a big bottle of slow.

Safari (Mac browser) on PC's is an option but it is based of the IE protocols and well that makes it not much better than IE.

To the OP:
There is a good chance you might have some spyware or malware on the PC blocking sites. Might want to run a full scan of a quality malware remover or even a good anti-virus software.

i did a windows update the other night. right after the update, my IE would not open properly. I would 'open' it then I'd get an error message saying that it has stopped working properly. Rebooted and still had the same issue.

Norton antivirus was up to date, so i just finally ended up restoring from a previous restore point.

i havent done the latest windows update yet. buggy windows!

How many Mac users have started threads like this? Or threads about strange pop-up windows, blah, blah, blah. Ummm.. none. Must be a reason.;-)

A Mac user trying to tell a PC user that a Mac is better is like trying to tell a cat to stop licking it's ass..... The cat(PC user) will keep licking it's ass no matter what comes out of it. No matter how many issues, complaints, upgrades and threads a PC user starts, they will always defend their PC. Almost like a battered woman syndrome.
