I love my iPhone, but there are some things about it that really annoy the crap out of me, mostly anything to do with iTunes. Without using iTunes, is there any way to delete songs of the iPhone directly, without going through iTunes?
I use the Copy Trans software. I use the free version and it works great, no need for Itunes!! I not sure what they do now, but they were giving a free 60 day trial of all their software, really cool stuff. Especially if you have multiple iphones or ipods. http://www.copytrans.net/copytransmanager.php
Apple sort of encrypts the music you put on an ipod. If you were to open it up with your computer like you would a flash drive or other external memory all your songs are randomly assigned 5 or 6 letter names.
At least thats how it was a couple generations ago. Haven't tried to do this recently.
