Is a 50* incline considered steep?

I know in my 1:1, I'd be a happy mofo to pull this off, but I'd like to know if it's worth mentioning in the RC Crawler world.
Picked up some decent size flagstone today, added it to my rock garden. One slab about 3 foot long got set at what turns out to be nearly an exact 50* angle, 50.1* to be exact. My Night Crawler can pull this climb with the stock tires but it takes ALOT of wheelspin and you just BARELY make progress on it. Fun!!! Fairly slick but dimpled surface, big dimples, like silver dollar size and 1/2" deep.
How does this compare with what the comp guys see, and what you guys have set up to practice on at home?
I'm thinking that not everybody is as fanatical about measuring test results like I am, so I understand if you don't go around measuring the angles of your steeper climbs. Ballpark is fine."thumbsup"

I'm down with that. "thumbsup" Gots myself a goal now.
This fawkin' sport is GREAT.
You got video of said climb?

Does it take a good sticky surface like sandstone to get it or are you guys doing this pretty regularly, whatever you're on?

Well then damn. :-(
No offense, that's cool he's got his suspension dialed in and all, but I guess I meant natural surfaces.
Man. I guarantee you this is going to have me out in the shop gluing 30 grit to 2x12's. LOL. After the initial letdown, I can see how this is a valid, controlled way to evaluate mods. Actually pretty cool.

There are places that are that steep and that grippy. You won't find them too often, but they're out there.

Usually if you can pull a 65* incline at home, you'll do fine in most comps. Even if you don't its a good way to check your work.

That's good s**t right there. EXACTLY what I was hoping to see. And the guy's too modest to post his own vid.8)
Are climbs like that MOA-only territory?

Well shit, if I'm getting called out then here's the Losi doing it too.

And yeah, good shit right there. "thumbsup"

Skip ahead to the end.

If you were to winch the suspension down on a shafty you might be able to, if you were very very lucky. Its hard to keep any kind of torque twist reigned in with that much weight off the wheels.

I can do 65* and barely lift a tire. Any more than that and my tires wash out and it either slides back down or starts bucking, and when it does that its going over unless you backpedal.
