I would recommend a Hitec 645 or 5645 over a Traxxas servo."thumbsup"
I've got both of them wet with no issues.
IMO don't get the hitecs or tower, IMO you'll be good with a very inexpensive servo from hobbypartz.com.
Servos are like 15 and the one I use has 200oz torque. So if you damage it from waterproofing or break it from water damage, it won't be so costly to replaxe
I did have their servo, not bad for $15, actually lasted for quite a while.
Yea, my cheap servo has out lasted my traxxas servo and still going strong. It's neato! I'm just slowly switching most of my servos over to hobbypartz since their cheap and actually have good quality for their price
also have ordered from a place called Enjoyhobbiez.com, they have a good cheap servo for $9.95 all metel gear 333oz. still using them now the only thing is they hum like a bastard, but other than that lots of torque, BEC is a must though."thumbsup"
DANG!
WELL in my comp rig, XR-10, im running the 7950th, so i know it wont die on me.
i may check that servo out for my buggy lol :lmao:
yeah I wouldn't put this servo on my comp rig
If you have to have a Traxxas servo, get a 2075.
