is this stuff good enough to start off?

I've been searching around and found a used stick clod with electronics missing. It has locked axles with bearings, maxx shocks, both steering links, servo mounts, links and shock mounts. I gotta come up with the esc, servo, battery, and motors. I guess this is a good start.

I got a new Mamba Max, Servo's and Motors for ya...

Yeah i'll probably be stealing some stuff from you. The servos and motors yeah, but not sure about the mamba max. that's a little over my budget. I was thinking the TR2. Maybe you carry that?

Not a flame, just fixed it. If you are on a REALLY tight budget (like me) build a tuber, buy some maxx shocks of FleaBay, make your own motor mounts, and buy an intellespeed esc.

I was thinking of building a tube rig but can't weld. Is there other methods besides welding? i know someone tried jb weld but not sure if that'll hold up at all. As of right now, i'm using up some of my nylint shi$ that i have laying around. I got a set of wheels/tires and a spare body that i plan to use. The frame will be custom made with some steel and i'm aiming for a scale rig. I'm using the TJ's design. My plan is to fab up the tj suspension for my clod, using 5 link setup just like it is on the jeep. I'm gonna try to get this as realistic as i can and still be plenty capable. I know it may not be as capable has a stick clod or comp clod. Everyone's doing sticks and comp builds so i'm gonna try something different. I mean, do you ever see a RC with trackbars?? I think it'll be neat.
