I'm scratching my head on this one, the issues are only present when I'm on this site. I'm using a wireless keyboard and mouse, they both randomly seem to disconnect to the screen while being used, as if they just stop working. I have to click the text box with the mouse in order to get the keyboard text to show up, and when the mouse pointer stops connecting, I'll have to double click the screen to get it to working again, almost as if I'm "waking" them up.

Like I said, it only happens on this site, everywhere else on the webz is fine. Is there a user CP setting that needs adjusting? Please help if you can.

Clear all the cookies and history in your browser. Run an antivirus scan. Delete temporary files.

And stop using made in china keyboard and mouse:mrgreen:

Sounds like your getting put into another tab / window? Check your popup setting for this site.
Difficult to tell with the supplied information.

Good, then my plan is working.

One down, 78,514 to go.

are they sticky?

no spilled beer on the key board. Batteries are fresh, all browsing histories/cashes have been dumped, all settings have been re-set to default positions. I'll try a test with the wired keyboard and mouse and see whut happenz.

EeePee- that's sneaky! :flipoff:

Oh, and I realized last night that it's happening on the jeep forums as well.

just plugged in the wired keyboard, lets see how well this works.... damn it, it works about the same, except now when the keyboard text stops appearing, I get a "ding ding" noise to indicate that no more letters are showing up.

Different mouse, microsoft brand. wireless. same crap as before.

Oddly enough, there seems to be a setting within the drivers for the WiFi card that allow for the peripherals ( keyboard, mouse) to "wake up" the computer during idle periods, plus the 'power saver' mode was turned on within the wifi management. Everything must have defaulted when I re-loaded the wifi recently.

So far, nothing has frozen up on me today. Damn 'puters!
