You're missing the point entirely.
I am all for helping people, and I do personally. I just choose to help those who want to help themselves and that I know in turn will help others.
I won't go into the details of what and how I do this as it's irrelevant to the discussion and each person needs to find their own way of helping their fellow people. However there is a distinguishable difference between helping out those in need who want to rise above and those who are lazy and want to sit and mooch.
Agreed. I propose that our first debate should be "Fake titties: they're still titties, so can they really be fake?".
Or if you want a more political topic: "Obama. Why Conservatives think that all the nations problems, past, present, and future, are his fault". An alternate title could be "Why whitey is deathly afraid of a black man in power.".
In my 20 something years in the workforce, I've asked for and received assistance twice. Food stamps for about three months many years ago, and more recently, unemployment when the job I had was no longer there, nothing else was available, and my bank account was nearly drained.
At this very moment I could walk into an office in town and qualify for pretty much every assistance program available to me. Last year was super shitty, I haven't made that little since a few years out of high school. I don't know that this year will be much better. There may be some new opportunities opening up for me, so I hope it will be better, but I'm not banking on it.
Yet, here I am, struggling but still making ends meet. Sure, I'd have lots of extra cash if I didn't have to pay for food, rent, medical bills, etc. I could go out and get a nice tv, new tires on my truck, etc etc. But it wouldn't be right. That is not what that money is for. I manage what money I have, I put needs before wants, I keep my overhead low, and I'm alright. I am not a charity case or a welfare whore.

I second the notion. However, that one should be a picture only thread.....posts with words should not be tolerated.
1. Ceiling fans work by spinning the room around them. Everyone knows that. :roll:
2. Chickens came first. Egg technology wasn't introduced until much later.
3. Fast or slow at what? Mentally or physically? You need to be more clear with your questions.
4. The government secretly tracks your travels on the internet. They then covertly take money from your bank account and give it to the companies. Thats why I've formulated a plan to purchase 4.8 million domain names.
5. Don't be so hostile towards other cultures that you obviously don't understand. Why, if it wasn't for Canada, we wouldn't have, uh, umm....Or how about when they uh, crap, you know, that thing they did for us...
