It claims 400fps:shock: I read on a few sites that some do a little over 400 out of the box, but most of them settle into the 350-380fps range with a .20bb:lol: I don't think you and Tim will play your little shooting game with this one:-P

No, I think not:lol:
I shot myself with mine (375fps) and holy momma of the box I live in that hurt.

If we ever meet...I'll be sure to bring mine :)

The first is a Marushin M500 gas powered shotgun that shoots three .34g 8mm BB's at once. Very nice! FPS has been chrono'd at 370fps. Trust me...you don't want to get hit with this up close!! Mainly full metal with few little being plastic. Extremely realistic cocking sound too. The M4 is a Classic Army with metal body running a 9.6v 3300 NIMH with Classic Army silencer and ACOG replica. Internals are stock for now. The 1911 is a KWA full metal. I polished the slide and have added real wood grips with the Colt emblem inlay(grips are not shown in photo).

Saturday I am looking at a bolt action CA M24 sniper shooting .25g about 450fps or a CA M249 SAW with 2500 round box mag. Wish I could get both but it looks like I will have to decide between the two.

Holy Crap James, you take the airsoft serious:shock: Nice collection! That Shotgun does not sound very nice, at least on the wrong end of it:-P Please send me your pic or wear a name tag, that way I know whom to make friends with!!!"thumbsup"

Jason buy that, and you can win. 490~510 F.P.S! FTMFW!

I personally think that anything that crosses the 400fps range takes it from being fun to being something else.

I am however currently shopping for another gun. When we get to Moab the MP5 will be my backup weapon, and I will have a new fully auto primary.

Unfortunately that FPS rating isn't true. It doesn't shoot as hard as the real Marushin M500, which I have. The Marushin M500 is capable in the woods where as the one you linked to has a shorter effective range and lower FPS.

Just came back from the hobby shop with a sniper rifle w/ scope, Classic Army G36C, and a Classic Army M203 Grenade launcher for the M4. I've read that it is very realistic as to how it loads the grenade rounds. It sure looks the part.

The grenade shell I am using is filled with Green Gas and you load 204 6mm BB's in it. Stick the grenade in the launcher, shut it, pull the trigger and watch as over 200 BB's rain down upon your enemy "thumbsup" If you want to see it mounted and the shell I can get some photos later in the morning. It makes the M4 look like a beast!

Jason- In regards to your comment about the FPS usually on sanctioned fields there are limits that are enforced to protect everyone. The max limit for any AEG (automatic electric gun) is 400 fps with .2g. A sniper or DM (designated marksman) has a higher limit at 500 fps with .2g BB's, but is restricted to semi auto only and you cannot engage the enemy with the rifle within 100 ft. These are the basic rules at our field. 50 acres of woods, trails, rocks, pond, and swamp. Truly a great game when played with responsible people. This is a game that requires strict safety rules that need to be followed.

Can you take a video of you shooting someone with the G-Launcha? LOL I would volunteer but its too far away!

I would but unfortunately I got rid of my video camera. I'll be sure to get photos of all my new guns. I added the silencer off the M4 and a longer than stock tightbore barrel to the G36C. The sad thing is I just added up what all my guns and upgrade parts cost me and its over $2,000!! That includes the M4A1, G36C, L96 sniper rifle, M500 shotgun, Glock 19, Colt 1911, and M203!! And thats NOT including any of my gear (vests, Vietnam era gear, camo, etc). I need to relax I think :D

Nice colletion there james. Do you have any internal upgrades in that? Guys if you're going to try and get any of those echo 1 guns like that mp5 best try and get them now. There's a supply problem and they won't get any back in the u.s. period for about two months. But they're by far some of the best guns for the money internally.

racer22- Nothing internal done on any of them. All stock out of the box. FPS wise here is a break down

M4 - 280 FPS w/ .2g
G36C - 300 FPS w/ .2g
L96 - 360 FPS w/ .3g
M500 - 370 FPS w/ 8mm .34g (three are shot at a time too!)
1911 - 320 FPS w/ .2g
Glock 19 - not chrono'd

I wanted to post some photos of my new guns. I picked up the M203, L96, and G36C two days ago and was able to use them today. I did pretty well with the sniper. Hit a few guys that had no idea where I was and could barely hear me firing. Very nice for the price. I cut up a woodland t-shirt and wrapped it around the rifle and scope to help blend in and break up the guns shape. I also added the flip up lens covers. I installed the real wood grips on the 1911 and it turned out really nice. I have the silencer and stuff for the guns but took them off for todays game to stay small and mobile.
