Quarry Creeper
So Jason let me borrow the RCC rig to compete at Donner..
The rig was built on a NICE DNA chassis. However it felt like a pogo stick on crack with the holmes 35s and oiless shocks.., had a belly height of 4-3/8"..
Aaany ways.. Not quite to my liking.
So Jason said if I dont like it, and it didnt perform...WE can kill it..
AND we did...
I told him Id handle it afterwards, and here it is.
Started with my token amount of beers and my trusty hacksaw that Ived been accused of using..And some plastic..
Bout 3 hours later..
Didnt like the clocking so.. I clocked it for him..
The chassis is Based on the 4.0 geometry, with the Chassis moved forward 3/4" to move weight forward.
Narrowed the bottom to use Standard Length 25 mm screws.
This also makes it so you dont have to stand off your shocks..
Using the CKRC steering link Jason gave me with the rig, I made a clampless servo mount that allows 100% throw..
More coming..
