Its Delrin...Its solid..And colored all the way through.

I get it from a plastic wholesaler.. It was produced in limited supply for a Biotech Clean Room.


And Yes the shock mounts are the revo rod end ball, Uses the stock losi Shock limiters for the washers to keep the shock from sliding through.

Keeps the shocks nice and free all the way through the cycle..No binding..

The servo mount is mounted using the OG lockout hole and then the screw used to mount the axle tube in from the end. Very solid..

Well I finally got a chance to test out Jasons new berg(wanted to work out any bugs).
It worked pretty much as planned...Flawlessly and Awesome!!..Ok actually my dumb ass forgot to put all 4 servo screws in the servo itself..only had 1. So after about 5 minutes of proving itself, I stopped. It climbs like its on a mission. Thats all I can say. We crawled a couple of other Quality chassis styles, and they couldnt even come close to the climb that this rig and another very similar one were pulling off with ease.
The truck is now set up and ready for some abuse.
As hard as I tried to get this to jason for this weekend, Nabil now cannot fit it in his carryon.

So.. That leaves it in my hands a little longer to fine tune it(beat it up) as well as paint him up a nice gehy bug body.

The Thong is still on the bench..Hasnt been fully beatdown and tested yet.

This Platform has been well proven. I made a lot of subtle changes to the standard 4.0 and came out with the HERO.

Here is why you take off your axle tube to drill & tap it, if your stupid enough to want to do that. I guess you had to if welding it wouldn't work. I've heard of crushed graphite, but crushed aluminum works to ? Who woulda thought.

Needless to say, their was countless parts that needed replacing.

The ground clearance capabilities are pretty much limited by your shock stroke. Typically it's from 2 5/8" - 3 1/2" with a sprung 4.0 losi shock.

What skids/sliders are those on the axles? I know I've seen them here before on RCC just can't find them in the vendors section at all.

I pulled the thread down about the axle gliders.. Trying to have them on my site for purchase this weekend.
I still make them. Pm if you need them .
