And as for the price.....I think you get a lot for your money.
My 4 door Rubi was $31K and it is as comfortable as my Range Rover was, at half the price......it also wheels a hell of a lot better right out of the box with the lockers and 4:1 t-case. Show me any other SUV in the $30K range that is better in any way.

As for fuel economy.....with my manual 6 speed, I get between 22mph and 23mph on the highway. It actually went down a bit after installing the cold air intake.

I dont know how true this is, but it seems to me that the cold air intake lowers mileage because you drive more aggressive to enjoy your new horsepower... anddd it sounds cooler in the high rpm's. thats what happened to me anyways :roll:

I think you go further on each stroke of the piston because the air is more dense creating more horsepower on the same amount of fuel....???

Thats my guess/understanding, but I'm not a full scale gear head.

Not that far off....Its similar to the answer I got for why I get bad winter milage in mine... The Jeep engines run lean from the factory and when colder air is introduced the computer compensates by adding fuel. You get more power but loose milage, its a tradeoff. That info came from a Jeep mechanic in my Jeep Club and he usually knows what he is talking about.

edit: never mind i just re-read, you were refering to going further miliage wise, not the stroke going further.
the engine is simply haveing an easier time doing its work, because its not trying to breath threw a soda straw.
and you are right, the cold, denser air will combust harder, making more power, inturn requireing less fuel/air to go the same distance.

$150K. I don't understand why something that small is so much.I could get a Gulfstream aaaaand a Rubi for $150k. I really don't need a camper on my jeep to sleep for 5 hours,I'll spend $86 on a tent,$30 on a bag..and crap in the woods.

If you ever stand next to a roamer, it looks like it's going to flip over from being so top heavy just stilling still.

I bet this roamer taylors to artic/jungle/desert film production companies that can justify the cost of the vehicle for what they use it for. I think I've seen one on the discovery channel... it was too fast of a far off shot to tell.

Thats the coolest RV ever. If there was a way to get a power wheelchair in there I'd get on the waiting list today.

jeez for a 150 grand you can get a nice used 30-40 foot diesel motor home and a used jeep to drag behind it. fuel milage from a big diesel should be close to that jeep and you will get a king size bed a shower and a slide room. I dont know about the rest of you but if I had a choice of sleeping that or this I would go with this

1999 84grand should have the 400hp cummins in there on a frieghtliner chassis and a allison automatic.
that leaves you with 66 grand to blow on a jeep.
