I started my first year teaching in August. I teach algebra 2 so most of my students are Sophomores and this is my second axial SCX-10 and first kit build.

My gf got me a kit for Christmas. I had been reading a lot over the past year of what is best for the scx10 and I had experience from my other scx10, which has been my gfs for some time.

I started building the kit and chose what I wanted to upgrade as I built it. The first thing I found was a lightly used vanquish front end set up. Vanquish Vvds, chubs and high steering knuckles in black, and titanium links for high steer. I found out that this set up lifts the steering links and is difficult to use with CMS unless the chassis is lifted. I didn't want to lift so I stuck with SOA.

My gf ordered me a wp BRXL and torque master 45. That was nice of her.

I had an older, longer, winch for another rig that I was unable to use without a controlled. My gf got me the heyok 2 position switch controller and it is very nice!

This is a list of what I have done to it, I think.

This is a build thread and not completed yet.

I am going to find each picture and upload it. Please don't quote this post with all the pictures in it. It is very annoying.

About 8 feet of 200 pound lockedup red synthetic line. Closest I could get to pink. It looks red/orange.

It's not done yet. But I had to get out of the house one night and drove the wash above my house. Had some fun. I have a video edited up but it's not uploaded to YouTube yet

This was built from a kit. It's got a cheap winch, heyok winch controller, Holmes wp BRXL, torque master pro (I think 45 turn), hitec 7954sh, cheap light controller, mip drive shafts, full vp steering and half shafts up front with chubs and knuckles, locked up rings with full hardware. It might have more, I forget

I've got a huge 3 cell 5Ah battery I'm going to try tomorrow. It's heavy.

Here are pics. I'll post more tomorrow. We live in Glendale so we'll find somewhere close.

you should add a body lining using a waterproof / permanent 0.3 or a 0.4 pen so that it wouldn't look too plain :D
