Jeep NuKizer build???

There are a couple guys building or have built some up. RustneverSleeps has a really good thread going, although I think he has been plagued with some computer issues so there are some time delays with posting his build, but it can be found here.

Norton and some others have also done some really nice builds, Norton's is wicked though! it can be found towards the end of this thread.

I picked up a body a little while ago and have narrowed down paint colours to 2 which I ordered and have received. I'm leaning towards a military theme and like the idea of the old warbirds/planes that had the shark teeth on the nose, just haven't a place that makes decals like that.

These guys have some cool decals, but not exactly what I'm looking for...

I also want to do some weathering/rust effects but finding Sophisticated Finishes paint here north of the border is near impossible but found some stuff that I think should work at Home Depot. Maybe this weekend I'll have some time to take it out of the packaging and get a better feel for what I'm going to do.

Looking forward to seeing your progress though!

Here are some updated pics of the Nukizer.

Very awesome build. I love the bed. What did you use for the cloth top? I see you cut the rear window out and did a flap. Im doing a drop bed in mine. Will have pics up probably tomorrow evening. Hows your electronics set up? What interior did you use? Thanks for sharing your build.

Thanks "thumbsup" . I used foam board and hot glue. I should've used Shoe goo for a cleaner look. Next bed will be with shoe goo. I'll post up more pics soon.

Thanks for the compliment. I actually used a old t-shirt for the top and spray glue. To get the bed down on the frame rails I used the Dinky Cantilever kit. I didn't actually cut out the back window, I just rolled up some netting. As for the electronics, bad picture but you get the idea. The interior is a Proline made for there Jeep Cherokee. I run two different bodies on this same chassis. Also the Dodge flatbed.
