Ok... well i finished rebuilding it from the inside of the axles up and its gone a long way since i first got it.

This is The first build on it (pretty much stock)...

It then lead to this build off of another RC i had laying around...

And then after taking it mudding through a dryed out pond that had nothing but 1.5 foot deep mud, I decided to rebuild it from the ground up and go back the the best crawling capabilities I've ever gotten out of it...

(its not rust in these next pics... its from running it through the grass during the driest dry spell we've had)

And here are the rock lights... there will be alot more lights when im done.

Poser shots...

roof rack components...

rock lights up close...

I will add updates when I go out crawling or when I make more progress on the build... Im waiting on a steering servo so it might be a week or two. Thanx for looking, opinions and suggestions would be great.

UPDATE!!!!!!! steering servo still isnt here... any day now. I got mad with people and was bored, so I took the wheels off the Jeep and painted them semi-gloss black, I'm happy with the results...

WHAT DO YA'LL THINK?????

SERVO JUST ARRIVED IN THE MAIL!!!! SOOO HAPPY... but its raining sooo there will be pictures as soon as it drys up :flipoff::twisted:

Couldn't hold back... so I went out crawling anyways, got a little mud on the tires...(and busted off a light)

I WILL HAVE A (somewhat crappy) VIDEO UP LATER!

Looks good,but awfully familiar;-)

I liked it better as a Chevy but it still looks good as a jeep. Have you considered a new chassis? Maybe an xtrail or an scx10...

Thanx Guys, I actually drew up a frame im gonna make at some point in the future, and nice jeep man, almost twins ;-) and thanx man, I really wish I had 2 crawlers so I could one up as a Chevy and a Jeep. and again, Thanx Guys

How top heavy is your jeep with all the trail gear and tire on top. I have the same body and using the AX10 it seems to be unstable already.

Its not to top heavy, if I fly through a turn it acts like a normal lifted jeep and rolls over... but It crawls really well without rolling, I can go up the sides of hills on a horizontal angle and not roll it as long as I take it easy.
but I do to the shaking it gets from crawling I have to tighten the body mounts fairly often.
