JHo's Ascender build

So I changed out the lightbar, to something more fitting to the truck.... My theme for the truck is obviously a death proof truck, just like what stuntman mike would of drove.... With that in mind I have started on an interior. Seeing as how this truck will be a stunt type truck, the interior will be minimalist. And I'm going to actually make a mount inside the passenger side for a go pro mini camera, lots of plain panels and rollbars. I'm not ready to braze yet so I'm making the rollbar out of styrene....

I have a lot of cool ideas
And will be painting the final body this week

Gonna try and have it ready for the comp on Saturday, however o doubt I will make it

Here are some pics

Also changed out my fair lead, the roller was getting damage on the rocks

This is kinda the theme I'm going for

Update ya'll

So I've been working on some scale details for my ascender,

Got all the lights somewhat wired up and functional, the truck has working headlights, tail/brake, reverse and turn signals. Also I made a real tube style grill out of styrene and backlit the radiator with blue LEDs,

Also installed some rock lights and have them wired up with an Heyok controller, so I can switch those with the receiver, mounted two 1" vanquish rigid light bars under the front and rear

Also made some rock light buckets, stole the idea from a post on here. I'm waiting for some led parts to get these going. I will have yellow lens in these and it should
Look pretty cool

Added a bunch of scale hardware to the underside of the truck, along with just about every upgrade available including MIP driveshafts

Got my body painted up the way I want it, and added some lexan window details,

Also got some more work done on my interior, this is my first time working with styrene and so far so good, I'm going for a very barebones stunt truck type look, perhaps later I will fab one out of Steel

Loving the truck so far
It's gaining weight for sure and drive amazing, I can't wait for warm weather so I can get out on the trails and rocks

Here's a few more pictures
And yes the ford is meant to be upside down, that way when I roll over its right side up
