But the upkeep and the noise... I did take a look at the maxx crawler photos, that looks interesting. Am I stuck with the ultra wide tires or can a hex get fitted for better wheel options?

but working on them and hearing the sound of a screaming nitro truck is the best part. and you can get wheel adapters
