Thats funny, I remember my fingers being sore for a couple days.

Im making steel skid plates for the venom creeper if anyone is interested hit me up will have pics soon crf323r@yahoo.com

I would like to see some pics when it is done.
My Grandparents live in Mac. I was just there
a month ago.

steel skid plate

no pictures yet the plates are being laser cut as we speak ill post the pictures as soon as possible

pics will come hopefully tomorrow i gotta remember my photobucket info...

but i mounted the esc in the battery tray towards the front with the rx behind that... rooster-55 combo

but i ordered the saddle packs off of TCS in hopes that i could mount it on the axle but it wont fit... any ideas or has anyone doen this... it the 1500 mah nimh
and im running a spektrum on her until i get a better servo for it..

body is gonna be pearl lime green cage and black body.. and now that im thinking about it a ghost splash 8)

my bigest beef with the build is that the angled ball links werent clear enough in the manual.. and i had to hack the skid plate cause i put it in upside down and could get the screw back out

also the beadlock allen screws varied in wrench size from the metric they call for and the next size up standard... oh well

8 HOUR BUILD and im glad to have it halfway done :D

Haha so you have had the same problems I had :). Those bent ends gave me trouble in the directions :). Also I felt that the 4 screws they put in each wheel to hold the beadlocks fit 1 size wrench and then the ones inside the bag fit another size wrench better...talk about annoying when you forget which one is which...

If you move the shocks down to where the lower links are then you can fab a plate to hold the battery over the axle.

Keep up with the progress, it took me a full two days with a 4 hour nap in between to finish the build....started slowing down a lot when the finger tips got sore from the tiny allen wrenchs...

hey looking good! All of my wheel screws were the same:?:.... A good set of hex wrenches go a long way, and have much less sore fingers too. IM using the align hex wrenches and they are only $20-go check them out! 8 hours of building huh? It took me about 6 but im still waiting on shafts:roll:... Good luck and lets see some vids!!

well... to sgtjeep, ill get some pics of my flock up...

and ive already though up v2 of the camera system ill most likely be using all 7 channels on my dx7 though  :-D
