Canada..Eh?
Well, Just got my first crawler. The MRC. Im no noob to RC. But a pretty big noob to Crawlers :l

I notest when I was crawling. The truck has some big torque twist. I know that stiffen the opposite spring will help, But it gave me uneven articulation.
Is there other ways to combat torque twist?

And me being me, I can't keep an RC stock. Heh, I have to upgrade it. Im going to get some high clearence links and a new chassis. But Im not sure which chassis to go for. There's 2 Im thinking about. DNA Mini-Slingshot or the TCS Mini-Edge Tube. Not sure what one is better. Or if there's better ones by all means tell :D

And Im sure the search button will most likely find this. But I can never seem to find the right thing Im looking for :l

I am using a Mini-Rockshow and the link geometry kills most of the twist, there are a ton of great chassis out there, mine probably being the best... But the Gatekeeper chassis, Mixer, Darksoul, DMG, Kamikaze, Annihilator, mini Nino, are great too!

I am sure I missed a few, tubers may not be the best choice if your looking for all out performance.

Ha. We'll call this the push a Rockshow on the newb thread.

I'm still getting my Mini Rockshow dialed in, but I totally love it. It's one of a handful of nice chassis that are available for the MRC. 666 gave you a nice list; all should be available here new/used if you keep your eyes open.

Be sure to do lots of reading in the MRC section - definitely the stickies at the top, and the various build threads.

When you're searching try choosing "Thread Titles" only, while narrowing the search down to a specific forum. The combination of the two will often help you to find what you're looking for.

I have noticed there is a LOT of different chassis out there. Instead of just a different looking chassis or one that has different configurations of shock and link locations. I personally wanted a chassis that will give me a longer wheelbase and longer arms. Therefor making a lot more flex and more stable with the longer wheelbase. So I went with the http://www.esphobby.com/losi_mini_crawlerparts.htm

Not a lot of people run this chassis but thats becuase nobody really knows much about it. I have been running this chassis for over a week and damn Im happy as a pink taco!! HAhahah.

I think im going to get the Mini-Gatekeeper. For $69 it looks like a very good chassis. The Rockkeeper would be the best, but at $125. It's alittle steep :l

Problem is that max WB for leagal compablity (its a word trust me) is 8.5 inches, that kit would put you at 10.5. If you want more stability and a longer wheelbase, get a 1/10th scale!

I'm running a FUBAR Mini Skeeter and I love it. WAYYYYY BETTER Than stock. TT is vertually gone.
