Are those rock sliders something that you had previously? I am ordering a JK kit and I want to mount some batteries to them, but they are out of stock everywhere. Just wondering if there is a place I can order them from.

Shocks feel alot like the RC4wd king shocks. Little bouncy but strong enough to hold the frame from hitting the axle.

The side rock rails I got from rc4wd about 2 weeks ago. Alot of things are sold out that I want!!

Twin Hammer tires. Well they are a little stiff. Really wouldn't suggest for hardcore crawling. The foam needs trimmed out for that. Tire compound seems to be good. I mainly use my truck for trailing in the woods rather then crawling.

Anyother questions please feel free.

Can you please post up a small review of the SV3+4600kv combo when you get it installed? Looking for some input before I buy.

Once I got the combo in the mail, I installed it in my 2wd slash to bash around a bit till i decide to put it in the JK. From what I could tell in the slash, seems to be a great system. Looking forward to being in the crawler soon.

It seems like a nice combo, great price, and waterproof. I'm hoping I can gear it down for decent low end torque without too much cogging. If not, the sv3 will run a brushed motor too.

Thinking I might just keep this SV3 combo in my Slash and pickup another one for the Jeep. System doesn't get hot after 3 packs running hard.

Just ordered the RC4WD Bulldog 9300XT Wireless Winch. Do yo guys wire the controller box right to the ESC power or do you guys get a Y harness?

There are options, but I'd probably just run it right off your battery pack.

I see you have a 6-cell NiMH pack, and the specs say it can operate on 7-cell, so you won't quite see it's full potential. Another option is to get a CC BEC and run both the winch and your steering servo off of it. This option would be best if you were running 2 or 3s Lipo and a high voltage steering servo with the BEC set to 7.4V. Finally, you can get a small 2s Lipo if you'd like to give the winch it's own dedicated power supply. That's probably only a viable option if you already have a Lipo-compatible charger.

What I wouldn't do is run it off of the ESC as to not overload its internal BEC.
