K5 Blazer Build

also, where do you get the leaf springs?

umm...from Halfcab...but they are Jug leaf springs I believe. You have to drill out the centering pin so you can attach them to TLT axles, BUT, it's worth it. I would also recomend the Diaz springs as a flexier alternative, he is a vendor here on the forums.

holly **** is this thing impressive. Did some trail riding today. Thing did killer for a top heavy scaler. It followed his c-10 that I was driving just about everywhere. He has pictures and once he is done with the feeding of the wife Im sure he will be posting them up.

We'll see, I have to take some of the others out there. But it has plenty of parking, and fairly easy access. It just doesn't look like there is any crawling....until you walk up the super secret trail!!

The track width matches my 1:1 K5, I am running a D60 from a Dually, which lets me run H1 rims without having them re-centered, and I am running a Van width 14FF rear with 2 1/2" spacers.

But the saggy butt thing is perfect!! LOL ;-)

Now I need to bend me a better drag link to help eliminate some of torque steer.

damn i guess i left ck5 too soon... my suburban still has a 10 bolt under the front end! haha... oh btw im "muddysub" over there. or was, i havent been there in a long time.

i love the scale trail run shots there. i cant wait to get my clod body!!

So Were is this. I would like to check it out. Looks sweet.

I was talking to Dean and Todd about it, if you are available next week let me know and we can run down and waste a pack or two. We trail rode for about 3-4 hours last trip with the scalers and the only reason we left was the clod body rig broke, there is 2-3 times more stuff for comp rigs. There is running water, still water, deep pools, shallow water falls. There is even a water fall you can drive up for about 25ft in the water...if you get the line right...."thumbsup"

So after I finished dialing in my super rig, I decided to add a little more "scale-ness" to the K5.

Dang-it, I hate it when my cooler tips over on wheeling trips!!
