Started with an axial scx10 kit I got on here, but th e1.9' sweren;t cutting it, they never have for me. Now don;t get me wrong, I love how they look on some trucks, but... anyway, back on track. I took my brand new scx10 that I just put together and tore it back apart , designed a custom frame and cut it out of 3.5 mm aluminum, reused all of the cross braces, skidplate, axles, and trans. Bolted on a set of narrowed clodbuster tires I had layin' around, and threw on a proline K5 blazer body that I got off of ebay for $15 shipped, nip:mrgreen:. Lastly I painted up the body in some old FORD :flipoff: colors that were on my old bronco. It's really fun with the 17 turn monster motor (550 size) made for emaxx's.

Hope you like, leave comments too"thumbsup"

Thanks guys, funny..xtrail......Yeah, it needs longer shocks, but I didn't want to spend anything on this truck right now. Unless you got some longer shocks you want to dontate:mrgreen:

Actually I might have something but there not real pretty 8)

I swear to God, last time I was in Texas, a blazer that looked exactly like your rig blew past me on the freeway. I think it might be true that everything really is bigger in Texas.

Plenty of torque, but I need a little bit bigger pinion gear to get som emore wheel speed. Being that it is light thouhg, the motor is barely straining to move the truck.

How many cells are you running? That motor will run alot better if you ramp up the juice a bunch"thumbsup"

UPDATE!!(new owner)"thumbsup"
Well after sittin her down on 2.2's for our local TTC, I knew it had to go back..and I was getting tired of my 1.9 jeep CJ so decided to sell that and really by some nice running gear and make this rig kick @$$. It was just to much fun with those big mud tires, so here's what she looks like on the new clod duallies(narrowed to singles) and added narrowed chrome wheels by warnoffroad

Also added a scale steering damper shock...

The tires offer a wider stance which was needed since it was pretty tippy at times, but since the fronts are off setted more than the rear, I bought some 3racing adapters with longer axle stubs.
You can see in the pics the front is wider than the rear..

And last but not least, I upgraded the drive line...bought some integy all metal axle shafts, and I plan on running a WK trans with the all new RC4WD WK hardend metal gear kit for the WK trans.. Will update once more parts start comin in.:chug:

I just recently installed all metal gears in the tranny since I stripped it out for the second time during this run.
lmk what you think of the pics:nice:

Great looking ride!!! I'm also workingon a K5 Blazer now, what body mounts did you use on the rear? I know the stock ones will work for the front, not sure about the rear yet??? The proline one I ordered doesn't look like it will work.

Thanks!!!
