KCRC 2017 Season Schedule

KCRC 2017 CRAWLING SEASON SCHEDULE

Right now dates will not be set in stone & i am sure as things thru the year change, there will be a few events changed - canceled & added.

This schedule will give you some kind-a date guide line for the year !

Once eagan Goat Hill RC Off Road Park will be open every first saturday of the month for scheduled events.

With scheduled group events happening every other saturday, at a different areas.

Hopefully 2017 we will be coming across & finding some new crawling spots this year,
and we would like every one to keep there eyes open for some new spots to have group events at !

If you have any ideas - thoughts on events/dates - crawling spots or what ever, please let me know

looking forward to a good year of crawling- scale events - trail runs - out of town events & more with the KCRC Gang !

There are some awesome spots in Line Creek Trail, the trail head off of Barry rd., off of the main trail(side walk) goes back into the woods, has some really rocky areas and a huge downhill section full of rocks, ruts, roots, etc.. When I lived over there, my son and i went Mountain Biking through there and I remember it sucked, lol. May be worth looking into.

KCRC trail run Saturday 2/18 tomorrow - meet up at the pin drop at 10.00 to 10.30am
hiting the trail at 10.30am
on "BLUE RIVER ROAD" not to far from the swop park mountain trail head area
this is a exploratory trail run
don't know how long the trails are or just wants there.

With such a nice day coming up tomorrow - we will make event out this
starting out with a trail fun run

then a Hill Climb Drag races - two trucks - first to the top wins & moves on to the next round

finish with the Creek Bed U4 speed run
course thru the rocky creek bed for your best single run time

Hey there, new guy here! Well, new to the scale/crawler scene been in RC for a good couple decades. Stopped through Hobby Haven today to pick up a battery and heard about the run at Blue River. Was just there yesterday. Great trail. Hit the Highline! Went down the road a bit today to Minor Park Tennis Courts. About 1 mile north of the meetup for Blue River, excellent open wooded trails with direct access to the river for some sweet rock and water trailing. Hope to make at least one or two events and meet everyone!

Goat Hill RC Off Road Park.

With such a nice weekend coming up ,
thought it would be nice to get a early start at cleaning up the Goat Hill & Trails some for the up coming crawling season.

Everyone welcome - free entry
But,
Anyone entering Goat Hill this sunday will be asked to volunteer,
help us get our own personal crawling spot cleaned up for KCRC & the "propriety owners" !

Extra - leaf blowers - rakes - gloves - water & your help would great !

and all ways please "go slow" up the main drive & into Goat Hill
