So I'm a little late to the Wraith game. But here it is.

I was in the process of selling off everything but my one rig, and I had won some($600) store credit in a raffle. Went for the Wraith.

Objective: to have an all purpose rig. Sand, Rock, Dirt, Hill Climb, etc.

Parts:
Wraith Kit
Mamba Max Pro
Tekin 13.5 redline
Savox 1268MG
STRC Knuckles,C-Hubs and steering link.
RC Screws kit

Tire and wheel combo's

Ripsaws mounted to HPI classic king's (black)
Sand paws mounted to J Concepts Tense Beadlocks
Still looking for a more ridged bashing tire.


Suspension:

Thinking about CKRC lowering kit, or home made.
Stock shocks for now, 20wt front and 10wt in the rear(running dual rate pistons)
I've gathered some parts to figure out a rear sway bar.
SCX shocks I've got liking around for a lower more firm stance.

Looking good man, Im thinking about getting another MMP ESC and putting my BR-XL in the Wraith. How do you like the brushless setup in your Wraith. Just curious how it runs. Happy holidays. "thumbsup"

So I'm stuck at work today, so I thought I'd bring in my painted panels and do something productive.
Got them all trained up and ready for install.

Should have some pictures up soooon.
I wish the Classic King wheels were here.

Nice looking panels. I am running the hpi classic wk wheels and ripsaws with 3.5oz of weights in them. Nice looking wheels, spun 2 hubs so i ended up glueing sum plastic hex in the wheel seems to be holding up. Looking forward to seen your finished wraith.

Really? That's kinda disappointing about the stripped hexs. I'm going to be beating on this thing with the 13.5

And thanks for the update on the hubs. I got the tracking over on scale4x4, got my PM email, and forgot to log in and respond.

Plastic wheels aren't going to hold up well.

Not really a need for an HD motor plate.

I'm feeling that hot orange. With the black wheels it looks very nice, though a bit clean. I remember mine when it was new lol

The BWD will not work. The Wraith uses a different trans case.

I've only ever run RC4WD OEM rims, will the 2.2's work with the ripsaws?

I just got a quote from mayhem engineering for $101 shipped for the monsters...same ones are on the previous page....either black or polished

I found a source saying the 2.2 OEM steelies will work. I'm going to grab them in black. They suit my style.

for the wheels, go with vanquish, they have some SIC ones available and are high quality. like all there stuff

Yay, got my rear sway bar done. Just need to clean it up and paint the arms.
