With such small shocks do you ever have problems with flex? Could you post up some flex shots pls?

the flex is about the size of a stock tire. its about 1/2 to 3/4in less flex than stock chassis. will try and get some shots soon though

Yea im sorry. been lacking lately. still have to order the hr gears and am thinking bout seeing if there is some metal housing too. ive been blowing through stock gears for some reason really easy. may just order some new stock housings and get thee hr gears and see how that works. but to take these picks, i put in my last set of stock gears...
Heres the flex shot. This is my boys truck(at least thats what he tells me so he wanted in the picture)
Heres a few photos of how i mounted the body, my shock/link setup, and my wiring
Heres a shot of my steering. i put some spacers underneath the rod ends to get enough clearance between the axle and linkage
Heres a few photos of it in action my boy was playing with it and i guide him. i have to take the radio from him when i want to take a shot lol

to be honest i like the body better on a 1.9. its soo much easier to take the body off and work on it. i like bodiless on my 2.2 and super.

Havent been many updates as of late. We took some video at our local comp and the truck performed very well, I, on the other hand, did horrible. But here are the videos of the truck doing work

Hey mate congrads in the good result. Haven't seen this build before, but not comping one of these trucks has alot to not seeing before. You doing well with Dons gear across the classes. Out of curiosity do you run a Sportsman rig? As I know of the XR and Super. Just be good to have a look at if you do, thanks,

Sorry but probably not since i dont own an lcc. I do own an Ax10 though so that will be my platform, thats all im saying:mrgreen: and the other video where i majorly screwed up is up in the other post lol

So I have been busy on the lil guy today. Took out the tranny and replaced the gears with all the HR crap, then I did the front overdrive mod. There is something shaking the truck when i get to 3/4 throtle, but is not there at any other point of throtle, so im kinda stumped. I tore apart the tranny again to make sure everything was right, which it was. I then tore apart the front axle again and its fine too without any binding. Well see how it holds up. I do know that this lil motor is getting pretty mad at me when i drive it though:ror:

The little green machine performed great this last saturday at IaRocks club comp. It took the win by 1 point(THANKS CHAD:mrgreen. Heres some pics of the lil guy doing work. I woulda had a better day if fishing wire hadnt made me take a touch on course 1:x

The man on the far left(Scott), his wife is the one who did the photography
Those are all the pics. This truck works great and just keep getting better the more used to it. I cant ask it to do anything else"thumbsup"
