Tring to put lead shot in my tires but dont have a scale to weight it with. anyone know about how much a 6 or 8oz of lead shot is. like a 1/4 of a cup maybe plz help me.

If the shot seems to be of a fairly even size, just count them out.

Just remember 16oz = 1 lb.
So if you counted 6, 8oz. shots that would equal around 3 lbs. If you can't find the scale then count them out and go with the largest weight amount that you think you have.

Scales are cheap, you can get a digital one for $30 or a cheap mechanical for $14 at any office supply place. I got a cool one at Staples that is a digital.

Or take a shotglass and a bag of the metal bits and just use their scale. Figure out what one shotglass worth weighs (subtract out the actual weight of the shot glass first).
