My next build is going to be a light as possible SCX twenty four c-ten length.
What are your lightest weight SCX parts?
I have a micro modo setup and a Meus micro receiver.
I’m going custom on the chassis.
I’m looking at the D-Lux NOD transmission. It’s ten grams.
For wheels I am going to cut up and drill out a set of RCfourwheel drive stamped steel wheels. They are thirteen grams a piece, I think I can take a good amount of that off.
What are your favorite lightest links? Should I just heat and bend my stock plastics or can I make or buy some that are lighter?
I’ll also need inserts and tires. I think I’m going Injora fifty five mm pins for wheels, they are pretty light and I like the size. I’m thinking of some fancy printed inserts but I don’t know anybody who makes them.
