I’m sorry for off talk, but is it the ABS Jeep body?If so, could you share with us the bottom of this body?
I am interested in similar ABS Jeep body (convertible one) and I wonder how much I must cut the interior to fit it on the chassis.

I run mine the same way. Backwards seems to bite better for me. I’m still up in the air if I like mine

This is the proper way as far as my research. You want the tread yo be in a / \ so it catches/claw the dirt,sand, etc. If it the \ / the tread will just slice through the dirt loosing traction. See here for a good visual: https://youtu.be/9bqQVNscw3o?t=258

At first I was the same way but they certainly get better the more you use them. That said, I'll likely go Proline the next time around as it seem to be the best, I just didn't want to get new wheels.

I went simple and rolled my own...

I used 3 and 5mm LEDs from Common Sense RC, they come prewired with a load resistor.

The only "special" thing I can say about my lighting job is that I don't have to plug anything in, the power to the lights is connected as soon as I drop the body on...

Wow that is an enormous cut. So I guess the convertible version of this Jeep is a no go?
Did you try to put the transmission the other way so the motor pulley is facing forward? Maybe it would be better to fit the interior?
If you could also share a photo of your interior, I would be thankful.

It looks worse than it is, with the trans the other way around it will come up between the front seats, this way the cut out is more on the backs of the chairs,

I’ve done it to get the body as low as possible as it’s quite heavy and would tip over a lot,

This is how high the body sits without removing the rock sliders and cutting out anything

I love this thread!! With the days getting shorter, my mind is going back in that direction, of paying attention to the lighting needs of my various rigs. Unfortunately, I currently have no lights on my Trailrunner Baja Bug, and my Enduro kit is still in a box. I'm teetering on buying a RTR Trailwalker to mount my Carisma Lynx body on, because I discovered yesterday that the front lines up almost perfect, and only the rear will need modification (wb shortened).
