lipo battery and charger help

ok guys need some help. bought some new packs and my charger keeps kicking off and displays the message

battery vol err
cell connect

looked up what that code is in the manual and its saying, wrong connection of the connector detected, please check the connector and cable

the new batteries are the HYPERION G3 VX 1100 MAH 2S 7.4V 35C/65C.
old packs are some CKRC packs. not sure the rest but they charge just fine.

the hyperion packs have a different balance plug. i guess thats whats throwing the charger off.
anyone have any other ideas or how i go about charging the new packs?

Yup. Your balance plug is throwing it off. Just do a normal charge with out the balance plug plugged in. You can get adapters for converting those plugs into Align balance plugs.... here

You just can't balance for now.

I think the hyperion is the same as poly so you need the polyquest to align adapter.

I actually just had the same problem as you. Bought a 2S Hyperion G3 VX and couldn't get the balancer to accept it. This part solved the problem for me:

Great price and great quality, my battery now balances great.

well i'm impatience and i didn't want to order and wait on another thing to come through the mail so this is what i came up with.

borrowed the battery post things out of an old traxxas reciever

made a new holder for them

soldered everything up and started charging. works good.
