LiPo - Electronics setup

Can anyone kindly explain to me whats the diference between 2s & 3s is it cell count and if i remeber reading correctly you can't run a 3 cell on a goat esc right?

This is going a little off the original topic...

2S, 3S, or 4S or whatever-S designates the number of Lipo cells wired in series with each cell rated at about 3.7V but in reality closer to 4.2V at full charge. A 2S will generate 2 x 3.7 = 7.4V while a 3S will generate 3 x 3.7 = 11.1V.

I don't think you'll need to run 3S on a Goat system; it's already plenty fast and gives more wheel speed than is needed on 2S batteries. For crawling, a 2S on a Goat system is plenty. The Rooster Crawler system, on the other hand, can benefit from running a 3S battery; however, do so at your own risk as it voids the warranty. I run the twin Rooster ESCs on my Hustler with a single 3S pack and it works just fine, knock on wood.

i see thanks, one last thing my 21 turn goat system is backordered. Now i was going to use a setup where to put an 18.5 infront and a 21 in the rear to have more torque at the rear.

Is this setup right or do you suggest 2 kits of 18.5?

Thanks once again and appreciate all your time in helping.
