Little Suzuki Jimny 4x4 LJ80/81

Body work is almost all printed might get rid of the bed tilt for a larger battery/electronic box and keep the bed of the truck in with magnets what do you guys think?

It's looking great - the bigger battery idea may be the better way to go.

Love the ridges in the bodywork!

I'm still debating what chassis to mount a slightly stretched Proline Sumo on...

Ascender, SCX10, or TRX4-Sport. Or maybe even the MST CFX-W.

It won't look stock at all, big fender flares and the back end cut and lengthened...

well if you think about the samurai lwb is 9.4 inches maybe a scx10 so the sumo looks like its running on yota axles.

And I've yet to run the battery down in these rigs with a 950mah pack but always having easier locating for weight distribution is nice. This little guy is to small for even a saddlepack for a idea of how small it is and well... cause I'm trying to run full interior an hide everything under the hood or elsewhere lol

Know it's been a while but the little lj's wheelbase grew a bit more also has changed colors again!

Working slowly on a alternative transmission in the same layout as the samurai build but only using the ecx gears and some printed gears to squeeze everything in.

The bed of the truck will be held in with magnets and the esc may end up being the original ecs/receiver from the first Gen temper as it's tiny. Then motor option between a Tamiya silvercan and a stock 380 from the temper.

Chassis does have provisions for longer shocks if I use gen1 temper axles down the line as I forgot how narrow these scales axles are.

But the LJ has been little treat to work on I do plan on making the axles more solid like on my samurai build as I don't think I NEED to have removable C-hubs or overly complicated rear lockouts. Hopefully the abs printed body with how its shaped an infilled will be lighter then the larger solid chunk PLA body was but I may need to fiddle with springs on this as they are a little to soft.

Agreed "thumbsup""thumbsup""thumbsup"

Yes, get rid of tilt bed (even thoufh it's super cool) to make more battery/electronics room. This thing is awesome, I love it!!! 8)"thumbsup"
