Welp, I finally traded off my budget VS4-10 and came home with these!

They're a little rough around the edges but I think they'll clean up real nice. Came with a ton of spare parts and also some upgrades too. Can't wait to dig into em!

Went ahead and installed some Vanquish castor blocks and Hot Racing knuckles on the DT (they came in the box of parts). There's another set of each that I'm planning to install on the other truck too. Lookin good!

Also went ahead and cleaned up the truck while I was at it, came out really nice!

Hopefully my receivers come in soon and I can take em out on the trails. Can't wait!

Installed a new pair of castor blocks on the other truck, although I ended up reusing the stock knuckles. Also shined it up a bit, came out quite nice.

I had a couple aluminum panels that came in the box of parts I got, so I went ahead and threw those on. I plan on ordering some side panels soon to complete the set. Also threw on some beadlocks I had lying around and the Geolandars off of my Optic.

Hopefully my new receivers come in tomorrow and I can finally take these out for a spin.

New receivers finally came in! Still waiting for a new ESC to put in the other rig, but the DT is finally up and running.

I got to take it out for a spin today, was a lot of fun. It actually crawled really well despite not having a locked front diff.

Unfortunately the light bar no longer works, but I don't need it anyway. I do need to adjust the drag brake though, as it doesn't really do anything when crawling, but when I let off at speed it's so violent that the truck immediately flips. That's all I really plan to do with it for now though, aside from maybe a new steering servo and some 2s shorty lipos (the only shorty lipo I have is my dad's 3s for his Capra that I keep stealing, lol). Very happy with the performance so far. Maybe later this summer I'll tear it down and go through it properly.

cool beans, the twin hammers is fun. That truck body they released further down the line has got to be a pretty rare one by now. Looks great!
