"Loaner" Bully 2 RTR

Well Both my BR Mini and 420 oz servo will be in Wednesday. Got the Jato ends installed and moved rear links, of course the daily Monsoons came so no rock pile tonight

Should be a nice smooth setup. This rig is as good as it gets with stock parts, Im very pleased with it for now. Your on the right track with what your replacing to make a great car even better."thumbsup"

Wake up time ! Between the MR mini and the Promodeler 420 servo this rig rocks.... Axle weights in on Monday along with a smaller pinion for the rear axle.
I am quite happy with the Holmes Hold on this rig...

Holmes hold is over kill for the rig IMO. Plus will ware the motor brushes faster set the ESC to 100 drag brake not Holmes hold "thumbsup" my dual BR- minis are set front 50% rear 100% regular drag brake.(not Holmes hold) I don't don't know anyone running Holmes hold in 2.2pro/MOD rig.

Look to be doing well in video.. (not cboggs rig)

I noticed in specs info on the rig it says. Shocks can be filled with oil.... does that mean shock don't come with shock oil?

I watched this video at least 10 times in the past week, I could be very happy with this something like this. Im not going to compete, I just want to basically stand in a spot that has a few rocks for me to play on. I am dying to get my hands on one of these!

All these yrs of running my berg and I finally got my rig down to the weight of a RTR rig..lol..
Guess I'll sell my berg a buy a bully2 rig.

I dig the bully2 also I'd really love to own one... like I've said before RC4WD did a great job on this new rig RTR and kit version.

Thanks for sharing all the info, I have two kits on there way.
List of parts so far:
4 tekin 35t
2 tekin fxr's
2 futaba 4pls
2 7980's
And two sets of skinz from Krawler Koncepts
Traxxas 2660 shocks (two sets)
Losi mini t springs
2 cc bec's

Still need to decide if I'll do another dual fxr or Holmes or dual castle micros?
And need to figure out which knuckle weights to go with for both.
Also going to order Barry's batt/electronics plates next week.
Would like nicer looking wheels but not sure which ones to get?

Anything else I should be getting?

Just ordered two dravtech skid plates.

Dual FXR's or BR-mini's work great, I like the Holmes/Castle settings better than the Tekins for programming but both in the end work very well. I have the Dravtech battery plate, servo mount, and electronic plate on my Dominator, I took off the electronic plate and run my esc's in the chassis (they weigh almost nothing). The RC4WD knuckle weights are a good start (better than nothing) but are limited if you want to run a lot of weight. As for wheels there are lots to choose from, 5th Dimension (mine), Krazed Builds, Y-Town, Dlux, the list goes on. Looks like your list is pretty good and I don't see much jumping out at me that you need, maybe some CI 5.25 narrow comp cut soft foams.

Thanks for the tips... Dravtech is away for a while so ill take Bart's plate, I'll have a look at all the wheels again and see about them and yes I've been thinking about foams, just didn't know which ones. I read they tend to go soft fronts medium rear. I'll do some more shopping tomorrow.

Well the "loaner" rig got loaned out at the championships to a guy looking to get into comp crawling and lasted for all 8 courses and didn't come in last place either! I still need to go through it and check it out, I'll update this on what I find after the dust is cleaned off it."thumbsup"

Well so far it looks like 3 broken wheels, the inner plastic split at the bead on all three. That's the only problem I found, all else survived just fine."thumbs"

Glad I'm not the only one who's broke a rim so far. Lol.

Are you going with stock rims again or something else?
