Most people that have been in my shop know all the stuff I have...

While I was cleaning up...I found this under a pile of clod parts...

Nice!

Now get rid of those street tires!

I know...they are E rated Dueler Revos...may put them on my tow rig and throw the BFG AT on there...same size...

The spare is the original MT/R...I love that tread...

Dang, nice find! I'll have to go out and rummage around my garage and see what I can find.:ror: Glad to hear you're ditching the street treads. A Rubicon deserves so much better.

After owning several Jeeps with the MTRs I would not waist the money, wear like shit, handle rain like shit. Just my 2 cents.

Love the jeep by the way.

I have heard the same thing...

Have to convince the wife that they need changed...:shock:

how sharp is she?armor all the truck tires,so they are newer looking.then let air out the tires on the jeep.after a few flats on the jeep tell her you need new tires on it. put the jeep rims in the back of the truck and have them switched around and get your new tires. just armor all the tires on the truck before you get home.

Unfortunately, she is sharper than that...She knows how I do things...My only option would be to take the BFG AT off the Avy and put them on...

I will have to devise a plan...;-)

As a current owner of Revo's I can attest that they are badass for Jeeps. Sure they are not muds or they may not look cool but I have had mine for almost 4 years and they have been wonderful. I have been ANYWHERE that I have followed the mud guys here in Colorado. A lot of it is the driver.

That being said, when the Revo's wear out I am getting BFG Muds, lol. Hey, what can you do. Nice Rube by the way. "thumbsup"

I just love driving this thing...what a difference from the CJ's that I was used to being in.

They are actually a pleasure to drive.

I may run the Revos until the BFG's go on my Avy...at that point move them over and get something for the Rubi...

JIA...your rig is what forced me to make the plunge.

My wife has wanted a jeep forever...but it had to be Red and an automatic. I wanted the Rubi.

There are not many Rubicon Auto's out there, let alone red...then I found this on ebay...exactly what I was looking for...but where is it???? 90 mins from me...

It was destined to happen.

Trying to decide what to do to it.

I was thinking a body lift but I have a bad back and I have trouble on "bad" days even getting in it the way it sits...

Daystar makes a good 1.25" body lift. Couple that with a coil spacer lift and you can fit some 33's with minimal rubbing.

Skip the body lift and get a FT 3" lift. Can be had for under $500 and offers a nice ride. Only issue is I'd recommend a new rear driveline with the FT lift rather than using the drop spacers for the t-case. Remember, no need for SYE on a Rubi, just CV rear driveline.

Here's how a 3" FT lift sits with 33's.

OK...a little schooling here...

FT = FabTech?
SYE = ???

That looks sweet with 33's. Not to high either... Think the wife would notice if I parked it on a hill???

No biggie. I didnt know squat when I got mine almost 11 years ago. I built most of it when I was in college and on a limited budget. I wheeled the hell out of my jeep and just upgraded what I broke. Now that it has a bunch of good parts, I dont have the time to wheel it as much as I used to.

Oh the memories! Sold mine earlier this year. Loved wheelin Tellico before they closed all the good stuff in it ;) By the time I sold it the only "Rubicon" in it was the hood sticker... :lol:

you have a nice Jeep "thumbsup" Sure do miss mine... :-(
