looking for Canadian crawlers

Hey cloddyman you seem just as eager as me to get some crawling action going on in ontario huh? been lurking on these boards for about 2 years practically now, don't say or ask much cuz all the info u need is already posted! I'm very acquainted with the search button lol. like i said in the PM, i'm nearing completion of my 2.2 comp crawler, and would love to have other guys to crawl with and meet other enthusiasts in this section of the hobby. all the RC in my area (durham) is nitro offroad RC which isn't really my style. For others who also want to know, I Too am trying to organize a crawl GTG in Pickering though. I have a thread on another forum on it including directions and a video of the crawl spot:

Just as an alternative spot to the newmarket one. can't wait to see your scouting pics of your crawl area cloddyman! If somehow these two spots can be regular meet areas, that would be even better! to great places to crawl in my book is always better than one, especially if we get some crawlers together.

Sorry, I just realized some of you may not be a member to the forum I linked to, signing up only takes a few seconds, unless others would just like me to post the thread info here...

Good to see that there are people in the area that are in to crawling. Just got back into it this year thanks to my brother for buying me a new chassis for my clod to replace the not so good chassis I was using before.
VTEC thanks so much for the video it's nice to know that there are some places around.

i visited my spot today and i cant really get into it that well, there is still alot of mud too dry up before i can get in there and really see what things are like. This spot is a large location and its based on a hill, it is a closed down dirt road that just became to washed out to ever be driven on, i tell you this could be perfect for a location, my atv has troubles here some times, lol. I will keep you posted though, stay tuned!

Just found this thread. Im on Vancouver Island, B.C.. Have been out crawling with the Vic crew before, but right now, its just me and my son that get out crawling. He uses my old TLT and i use my newly built TXT, although i have a 4x4 wheelyking and a pile of parts on order for a 2.2 trail rig. I will have to hook up with the Vic guys for a crawl or 2 this year. ;)

well DanR and i got out for a little practice run this week, mine didnt last to long as my controller batterys were dead on arrival, lol, ah well, but we cant wait to get out to the meet on the 29th, im just curious if there is a main parking area that we are all supposed to meeet in or something, im sure we will all be able to find each other but anything to make it easier, lol

just making sure to remind everyone that the first Ontario crawlers meet will be this Sunday coming, as in one week from today. Make sure to be there, i believe that people will probably be starting to show around the 11 am mark, but please gun to be there for 12 noon the latest.
