Hey, looking for what I would guess is about 1/12th scale. Looking for a body with somwhere between 8 3/4" to 9 1/2" Wheel Base, and from 4 1/2" to 6 1/2" Width.

Anyone got any ideas? I looked around, but after searching, there is not a lot of info on body dimensions.

If anyone has anything they think is smaller than 1/10th scale and it is commercially available, I would appreciate you measuring it and letting me know if it will work....

Thanks guys. "thumbsup"

Most of the bodies available are 1/10. For the shorter wb you will have to do like I did......flea market, thrift store, etc. There are a lot of old rc's that have cool bodies. I've found a 97 f150 flareside and a s10 extreme xcab sportside to use on my 1/18 nylints. Also check walmart and toys r us, they have some cheap rcs with cool bodies.

psh, the blackfoot WB is 9.5". while tamiya calls it a 10th scale truck it is more 12th scale. look on ebay or dollar stores for no brand china rc's.

If you want a hard body the big bear is exactly the size you are looking for. I have two of them if you are interested. The wb is about 9" and the width is a little under 6. One of them has a full interior with driver kind of similar the the bruiser/hilux.

PTI Goliath and TLT bodies are not 9" wheel base, I have had one of each, they didn't fit the bill, thanks though. I'll have to check out the WK body if I see one locally. "thumbsup"

go get a cheap, but tough rubber trash can at Lowes...come up with a design, cut out two identical sides, and a top, make some little L brackets and bolt it all together...kind of like this (but better looking of course:lol: )
