hey guys, im looking to get back into truggy racing this summer but after spending alot of cash as of late with the CR-01 iam a bit poor so iam looking at rtr's.

anyone have any rtr truggies that they would like to comment about ? i was thinking about the 8t but my buddies 8t had alot of problems as others did on the track.

theres not that much in the line of rtr's out there but the ones that are i know nothing about.

I really liked my hellfire, if youre looking for one PM slobin3d, he has one all pimped out super cheap......only problem I had was crappy stock servos and one of my turnbuckles managed to not get threaded from the factory:shock:

Ofna Jammin, RC8T when it comes out, Losi 8ight T.

If you want to go cheap but quality, check out the TTR ST-1. Has a good TTR engine, same as the MGT, and the electronics aren't bad.

i'm getting back into racing too but not sure if i want to go with a truck or truggy at a local dirt oval....but i will be going with team assoc b4 or t4...............bob

....

I'm running a Jammin X1-CRT RTR and love it. It's not necessarily THE fastest truggy out there but it is dead-nuts reliable and competitive. Looking around they can also be picked up really reasonably used. $200 for a used RTR, $120 for a new Axial .28RR and you're ready to go.

Anything mugen , for a company of 32 people you would be amazed what the come out with.
Losi 8T , race ready roller and your set.
If your not gonna be racing hard core just pick up the RTR 8T.

The hellfire is nice for a basher and will get ya around the track nicely.

Stay away from matrix , sportwerks , mantis. They are cheap cause they are cheaply built.

thanks guys im on my way up tp the hobby shop to check out some trucks.

Totally forgot about these guys!!! GREAT BUNCH OF GUYS !!!!

Caster Racing is about ready to revolutionize the RC industry with our 1/8 scale electric buggy which will be available VERY soon. Truggy shortly after. Dealer inquiries welcome and quantity discounts are available. Pictures in zoom are of prototype only.
