I dont know about the losi desert tire. but it look like it could of help at the jackson comp a couple week ago. but i dont know how soft or stiff the tire are. so cant say much.

From What Rich posted in another thread, the tread portion is pretty stiff, to resist balooning. (I think there must be a brushless one in the works?)
But that's nothing a little work with a dremel couldn't cure. And as for the size, well, this will make a great replacement for the geolandars a lot of guys are running right now.
