Losi High Roller any good?

I have an old Kyosho Raider that is in good shape, runs, very few scratches, unpainted body and I'm trying to sell/trade it. Anyways I've been offered a losi high roller but don't know anything about it. Are the high rollers a decent truck for bashing around? Ideally I would rather have a short course style truck like a slasher or a blitz but there doesn't seem to be much interest in my old raider. Thanks for any advice.

Hold out for the slash or the blitz. Much more durable, more aftermarket support, if you want a mt you can turn it into one, and I'm not a fan of the whole mid mounted motor on a rwd truck.

They aren't bad, I have a 1/10th one and like it. I plan on going brushless in mine in the near future. The only problems I've heard of so far is the transmission gears are kind of weak, but you can just get the Strike gears for it (Strike is all metal)

The HR has a rear mounted motor, not mid like the Strike.

For some reason I thought it was mid....
I like the look of it. And I've heard good things from the shocks and the tires. But to one his own.

Thanks for the advice guys, I ended up going for the trade. So hopefully I'll be able to give the high roller a try in a few days.
