some pics of it with the tires on... think im gonna take the springs out of the shocks to make it have a better center of gravity... pushed it down to bottom it out and i think it looks better lower.

i still need to decide on what tires im gonna run on the bwd beadlock micro wheels i got... i like how the stock ones are rounded like quad tires but i think that something a lil bit bigger but still look proper would be nice... suggestions?...

yesterday i got my aluminum tranny case and 52t spur gear in the mail :)... i want to big block this thing and gear it for speed but keep it somewhat crawlable... anyone put a 50t pn racing motor in one of these or would it just make it a turd?... or should i just go with the 70t motor and gear it for speed?... suggestions on how i can make this thing rip would be much appreciated ...

Nice build - get Mini-Q-Lo tires - they are bigger and fit just fine on the ATV. I have these tires on stock rims without foams.

thought about the q-lo tires... they seem a lil big tho but they definately are the closest to looking like a quad tire (except the the stock ones). if i go that route i think ill have to grind away some more stuff in the front and/or trim the tires down on the edges... im down to the 2 hardest choices which tires to use and what turn motor to big block it with.

i took the springs out of the shocks today and it is definately less top heavy and it has way more flex... i had a problem with the shocks gettin stuck in place when they were fully compressed. i solved it by adding a lil plastic clip i made to the shock to keep it from getting fully compressed since im running no springs now... i can post a pic of them if someone needs me to.

im thinkin i might add some weight to the underside of where the riders feet would go. it might help the body from wanting to sit sideways after i crawl it over something... and also help the center of gravity. most my weight is in the front cause thats where i put the battery... i think weighting the wheels will help too once i decide on what im gonna run

ended up going with the q-lo tires... the battery already puffed up on me so i also ordered 2 batterys... so the only thing left now is the motor :|...

I never thought of trying to use a 4 wheeler body. Damn good idea. Turned out pretty sweet too! "thumbsup" I vote for q-lo tires.

Danm looks good I would throw a rider on there
i want to... but its 1:12 scale and the 7'' action figures i have are pretty heavy and look too big ... it looks really sweet sitting in the drop bed of my hilux tho "thumbsup"... im open to suggestions on a rider if anyone has one?... still have my motor issue to decide on too :|...

this looks friggin great. very nice work on this. "thumbsup"
thanks for the kind words ... this is the second micro build ive done... i have a 4x4 quad gun tractor i started on right before this one... still need to finish it...

just got the tires today but i cant bolt them on with the stupid stock plastic nuts... i dont have a tool that will fit in the recessed part of the bwd rims... think i may have to grind the socket i have to thin the wall so it will fit... sounds like a pain in the ass tho ... anyone got any advice?

also have major clearance issues in the front im gonna have to figure out... on the bright side i have everything i need to do the big block mod now ... probly time to rip it all apart again...
