This Blade TMC Build is finished!

I updated the first original post to reflect this with the finished information on the build and some updated pics. I did remove the shock rear links. No reason as to why I removed them... just did.

Here are a few more pics as well;

Wow. That came out nice. I really hope the trekker parts become more readily available soon . There are a lot of good usable parts on these, but. You have to have the micro axel and it just isn't cost effective to start with a trecker. That is a good looking chassis."thumbsup"

Thank you, really appreciate that! "thumbsup"

This was my first build, so I am glad I didn't totally jack it up... :lmao:

You can buy the links and the axles. Just cannot buy the extended ball stubs yet, but the official answer was they will be available fairly soon.

I found the next best thing for the extended ball links. They are for rc helis, but are the same size and have an extended shank that I believe offer more swivel than the stockers. Tossed the container, but Heli X seems to ring a bell for the name. Also, Great Planes 2/56 Threaded Ball Links Kit Pn# GPMQ2841, comes with extended ball studs, nuts, and white nylon ball links. 8 sets to be exact and cost $8. I got all mentioned parts from my local Hobby Town USA.

Hi Xxxxx,

Thanks for the email. That’s a good question. Losi is working on new ball studs. We are working on getting these in stock within the next 3 weeks. There will be a new part number for these Pivot Balls very soon but we do not have the number just yet. Please keep an eye on our website or feel free to check back within a few weeks for the new ball studs.
Thanks,

Josh Underwood

Did you ever find out a part number for these? I still don't see them on their website...

So after three more months THIS is where we're at with the Trekker ball studs :

Greetings,

Thank you for contacting Horizon Hobby Product Support.

These ball studs are not listed on the website under the products page. I do not know which ones they are. We don’t have specific ones we can recommend for this vehicle. Sorry.

Great products. Exceptional service. Serious fun.

This is my response:

Thanks for the reply. So you are saying these parts on this new vehicle are not replaceable??? I would have to buy a whole new Trekker 4x4 for $150 to get them??? They are obviously available and supplied to build these vehicles in the first place so this does not make any sense to me. If you do not know the answer can you please tell me who else I can speak with.

Thanks,
Mark
