Losi Micro TX compatibility?

I searched and couldn't find anything that pointed me in the right direction...

Is it possible to use my old losi micro tx with another spektrum rx? A friend is selling a cheap slash roller, and I was hoping to save a little $ and only getting an rx I can bind to my other radio.

Is it the 2.4ghz gray one? I am almost positive that it will work because those radios are Spektrum and should bind to any Spektrum RX.

as long as it is the 2.4 it will work with almost all of the recievers seems like the 3100s wouldnt bind but the sr300 is the same reciever as the rtr losi. been doin this for the kids's cars for a long time and it works great!

The Losi TX is running Spektrum's DSM system. Most of the cheaper Spektrum receivers run the same encoding. (sr300, sr301, sr200, sr3500, sr3001) You can find 200, 300 and 301 models new on eBay for ~$35.
